Wooo! Any further details?
That's all I know, no ETA just that it's a work in progress.

I did see an R on Facebook posted by Jean André Dem but it looked like maybe an imitation sleeve had just been fitted, I guess it may have been the real thing.

My A110S bucket drivers bucket seat squeak/creaks when I’m sat in it driving and it absolutely drives me mad.

Alpine had it to fix and whatever they did only lasted one day and it’s now returned even worse. frown

If I lean forward in the seat the noise stops but as soon as I lean back into the seat the noise is evident and even worse on uneven bumpy roads.

I know it’s a common issue and wondered if any owners had fixed it themselves and what the procedure was please?

You could ask to speak to the technician who worked on your car, to ask what he did which temporarily helped.

You could also have someone sit in the seat and replicate while you listen where exactly it's coming from, of course this could be difficult given the size of the car. I've found squeaks in previous cars by creating the noise and feeling with my hands where the sound/vibration is coming from.

With the bucket seats the rails are the only mechanical parts, although one possibility we've come across is the leather squeaking against the fibreglass shell, in both cases lubrication helps. Another possibility is the 'Batman' insert behind the shoulder blades.

I'm inclined to think you are right and Alpine will focus on markets not subject to the 1500 car cap. The UK has signed up to the GSR regs, but it's not at all clear to me whether that just means they will limit the non-GSR cars produced in the UK to 1500 or whether that will apply to EU cars too (which would be a bummer for UK buyers - but great for existing owner's residuals).
Are Alpine not finishing production of the A110 completely soon? Or did I mishear/misread this? I thought the super special car Ocon was seen testing was basically a final model send off?

It is supposed to be just that, an ultimate ICE edition. However it's not due to be released until the end of 2025, after which I'd imagine the A110 would be available for another year or so alongside.

The A290 isn't being made in Dieppe, so I don't think the A110 will cease production until the fully electric A110 begins.

I've developed a cheap plastic sounding trim rattle behind my right shoulder. It's quite consistent.

Anyone had this before?

I’d speak to a doctor personally…

But no- after 40,000 miles I just get the odd door buzz now and again.
I’ve fixed the dash rattle with some neoprene pushed behind windscreen but never had a rattle over my shoulder.

I had one which was the upholstered door pad loose against the door card. Pushing the pad stopped it for a while until I got it properly fixed.

I know occasional fogging rear light is a common problem on the A110 but has anyone else experienced a permanently fogged up light?

Mine has been like this for a 4 months now, I had hope warmer temps would see it clear up, but sadly not and I do not jet wash the car.

Any solutions apart from a new light?

The car is coming up on 5 years old now

Drill a very small breather pinhole, stick the light unit in a low temp oven for a few hours, then a blob of sealant over the hole?

Sounds dodgy, but I believe new light units are wince inducingly expensive…

Aston Vantages suffer the same issue, drilled holes in both of mine, hairdryer and being left out in the sun, got rid of the condensation and the holes covered with goretex breathable patches - never suffered from condensation again

Thanks to you both I will try that, I'm sure I read somewhere that the bumper has to come off to get the light out which looks like fun and games!

...... and the aluminium on the wings oxidizing, causing the paint to bubble. I spoke to a salesman who believes it's only early cars and a factory issue, I personally believe it's down to tiny stone chips allowing in water/salt as only seems to be on higher mileage and naturally older cars. ....... snip .....
My 2020 Legende on <6k miles had the issue on all 4 corners - fixed under warranty thankfully, so I don't know if that's necessarily true.
Plenty of supposition online about metal clips being replaced by plastic in bumper mounts but nothing 'official'. My dealer could offer no guidance despite a number of enquiries.
If there is a difference at the 2021 'upgrade' stage I can't see anything official about it.
If anyone has anything definitive that would be great.

Just a quick question: does the engine have a belt or chain? What service interval for replacement?

Aha, ok thanks. Are the chains any good? I hear about stretching chains on other makes.

Well, how about if you google for "M5P 400 problems" and tell us if you find anything.

Not a google user here, but duckduckgo doesn’t show any hits on that. Something I missed?

It’s the engine model for A110.
