Lexus V8 with NOS in a Renault Espace - yeah lets do it !
Discussion
I ask, as I have a rover 45 and a jaguar XJS V12 waiting to become one majestic british gangbang of total unreliability and disappointment.
Laughing out loud at this sentence- , my advice from personal experience would be - don't start it in the first place !!
But seriously - I wish you the best of luck and can't wait to read about it .
Been here over the past week with work .....
Sadly not in my car but it has re-inspired me to get cracking on so in 12 months time I can be there again , but this time driving it .
I've been to Le Mans a couple of times before with work but never around 24h time of year - WOW , what an enormous event it is going to be , in my opinion it is a far superior spectacle and set-up compared to F1 and undeniably far better racing
Whilst driving though Le Mans I noticed a lexus dealer and then on the same road no more than 1 km away was a Renault dealer - surely that's a sign that it's meant to go there and I should be covered if I have any issues !!

Another one here disappointed. Come on OP even if it is just a picture of the old girl covered in dust in the corner.
Hi all , thank you everybody for still being interested , has work been progressing - yes , but not by massive amounts , and not really things that are very interesting , here is as requested a picture of her covered in dust And my mates comedic 'finish me' on the dirty windscreen
I have recently purchased new rear seats to match the existing front seat
I have also acquired a pair of tailpipes that I think will look good when I do eventually get round to fabricating a new exhaust
There's probably some other bits to show so I will try and get cracking and get on with it
Dash latest , although it probably looks like it has moved on very little - it actually has ! It is all properly secured and quite sturdy now . The white finish is not the final finish , it's just to get the shape. I have been adding various bits of wiring and switches which I hope to complete in the next couple of weeks , stay tuned !

Thank you , always good to know new people keep discovering my little project But OMG amazing and..... just bloody amazing!!! Keep us updated and hopefully 2016 will be the year lexspace lives to roam free on our roads and motorways?!?
So ......
It was about this time last year I was at Le Mans thinking how cool it would be to have driven there in the Lexspace ......
And here we are 1 year later ..... I'm off to Le Mans again and I know when I'm there I will be thinking - how cool would it be if I had driven here in the Lexspace ......
During the past year the amount of work I have done on it would be less time than to watch a good movie on the TV
(Hangs head in shame )
Now I know I've said this to myself before but I think this time I really mean it , when I'm back from Le Mans I'm going to get my arse into gear and crack on with this car , I'm targeting going to Le Mans 2020 in it !
Sorry to anyone who was hoping for a great update and that it was finished but all I can say is - watch this space !!

I’m happy to report more work has been done and enthusiasm for the project is at a 6 year high lol , the vast majority of the boot area is complete along with parcel shelf and rear bulkhead top with 4 blinds fitted and working for the 3 most rearward windows, all the boot electrics are done and working again . The rear seats have been refitted - the eagle eyed amongst you may notice these are different to the earlier rear seats I fitted , and are much more comfortable . Some more work has been done on wiring around this area and now both rear electric windows are working . Today’s major job has been to get the handbrake working , the Lexus had a foot operated hand brake pedal with hand release mechanism on obviously the left hand side of the drivers side footwell area , after much trial and deliberation it now has a standard hand operated lever to the left hand side of the drivers seat mounted on the floor , I put off doing the handbrake years ago because I thought it would be difficult and today found out why !! But anyway it’s mostly done now , I need to sort out the gear selector tomorrow which I have a few ideas for .
