Well 1 month into ownership all's going well so far! Great little car which for me has lived up to all the review's so far. She's an 08, well enough specced with leather, bluetooth, ipod etc and 16k miles. Bought it from the local bmw main dealer for 17.5k at christmas with a years tax...proper performance bargain!
First thing to go were the run flats, normal tyres are so much better on the greasy winter roads. Due to the weather I've been mostly using the trusty c900 but first impressions are of a good simple honest car in which the engine dominates the driving experience....there's been so much written I don't need to go on about it but it really is a masterpiece and i'm very much looking forward to putting it against my mate's e46 m3. The 6 pot brakes also do their job very well.
Oh and people will either love or hate the 116i badge I've fitted, people who know their bmw's will of course know a 116i was never available in coupe form but for the other 99.9% it makes for a good q car for the summer!
