944: S2 or turbo?

I didnt think the S2 had siamesed bores either but I could be wrong. Definately only the 968 had piston squirters and webbing.

What are simaesed bores? (I presume we are talking about bores, not ports?)

It is when the bores join onto each other so the edges of the circles blend into each other which provides support. I checked and you are right all 104mm blocks are siamesed, but only the 968 has the squirters and webbing for extra strength.
