S = Sh*t, of the ignorant type, apparently. Usual commute to work this morning when a Cooper S decided to cut me up at a 2 to 1 lane convergance. In so doing he scraped my nearside front wing and then.. unbelievably.. didn't pull over! In fact, he carried on his phone conversation and drove off.

Needless to say he didn't get very far before I made my feelings on the subject known to him. He claims he didn't even know he had hit me. Which I believed for all of a nanosecond. He also claims to have friends who drive Cerberas.

So, if you are a Cerbera owner who knows an ignorant git that drives a blue Mini Cooper s in Southampton, you may like to review your opinion of him.

It makes no difference what car you drive - if you hit someone it is an offence not to stop. It is a serious offence to use a mobile phone AND hit someone at the same time. This guy is an(other) accident waiting to happen - he showed no remorse and I have no doubt he wouldn't think twice about doing it to someone else.

May be I should call the police after all?

Paul, trust you to know the entire documented history of the Mini!! Of course, this one was a BMW Mini not a "real" Mini (I can say that can't I?).

The driver turned out to be involved with Southampton Football Club so I can track him down easily enough.

Paul, are you going to Combe on Friday with the Griff? Is anyone else on here going?

Paul, Combe is the perfect place to run the engine in
