I really like the look of the 612 Scaglietti [I'll re-phrase that: I think in the blue, it is one of the prettiest cars I've ever seen!], and so was wondering about the practicality of owning a Ferrari; I have a few questions (so I hope I'm in the right place!)...

(a) Servicing: is this often and costly? Is it true cambelts need to be changed on shortish intervals and is it normal for engine rebuilds every X'000 miles? What sort of money should I be setting aside (I'd do about 7000 miles per annum in the car) say annually?

(b) Reliability: assuming the car's regularly serviced will it be reliable, or should I expect it to be temperamental?

(c) Financing: on a pre-owned Ferrari, do dealerships take non-Ferraris as part-ex (not wholly important), but more importantly, will they sell it with some agreed future buyback (i.e. pay off a sum in 3 yrs or give the car back, my choice)?

(d) Used Warranty: could I get (or pay for - and how much) a 3yr warranty with a used Ferrari?

As you can probably see from my questions, I have in mind the idea of getting a Ferrari, seeing how I like it for 2 or 3 years, with the safetey net of a warranty and "walk-away" if all doesn't go to plan...

Of course, I may be being too greedy, but hey - I'm here finding out!!

Many thanks in advance.
