If i can't make it happy to relinquish my spot to someone else, or maybe i'll rock up in the daily/a friend's car. biggrin
Excellent, can't wait to see that in the flesh so fingers crossed!

More drama with my car so I won't be able to make it (time for another project thread update!)

having said that, is there a way to cancel my spot so I'm not stopping someone else from having the opportunity to go or should I just send my ticket to someone that wishes to go in my spot?

Not been to an SS before, my 8 year old is supercar mad so this is mainly for him to be honest (and we're only 40 mins away), are there usually an eclectic mix of vehicles including some that are a little more at the exotic end of the scale?

Yes,

Check out the cars that went to the Morgan SS or Mercedes Benz World Sunday Service as examples. smile

The best bit about (most) SS is the variety from someone’s farm hack to supercars and generally most fit somewhere in between.

  • **SKID PAN TICKET****
I can't get to the Sunday Service at Thruxton now but I do have a ticket for the now sold out Skid Pan at 10.30 - I submitted a refund request a couple of weeks ago but nothing seems to be happening with that. Does anyone want to buy it off me for what I paid?

Dang, sorry to hear that! I don't think capacity has been maxed out yet (not far off though I believe) but if it is, then I'm sure you can offer the ticket up on here.

If anyone booked on to the skid pan decides they can't make it, please drop me a message.

Keen to get on there, but it's fully booked.

Should be a good morning out regardless.

Has something gone wrong with the calendar or is there genuinely only 53 (/500) cars listed as attending?!

There is no link in the article to the calendar (that I can see) so not surprising few people have added to it. Ben mentioned the event being nearly full.

In fact, I'm on the mobile site now and can't for the life of me find the calendar full stop!

There was no event calendar signup for this, the original post directed everyone to the thruxton website. However if you do hunt down the events calendar some people have added their names on to the event.

Can I just check there is no minimum age or limit on passengers for the skid pan. No helmets either?

As already mentioned above, we're not using the PH calendar for sign up to this event, it's just there for anyone checking what's on. To access the Sunday Service, you'll need to register on the Thruxton website here. At last check we were closing in on 500 cars https://thruxtonracing.co.uk/pistonheads-sunday-se...thumbup

Yes no minimum age or limit on passengers, all just have to be in proper seats and belted in. No helmets are required.

Edit to add: The Sunday Service is now full. See you all there this weekend!

Evening. Anyone who can’t make it and has a spare ticket going is there anyway to transfer it over. Have a mate desperately wanting to come.
Thanks

Currently forecast to be nice and dry and sunny, bit fresh though.

Thruxton is pretty chilly in summer so -1c should wake us all up.

I've just found out I can't go, I'm not sure if I can pass a ticket over or if I have to cancel and it goes to the next person on the list (if there is one)

I can't make it now, but I can't see any way to cancel the ticket. I sent an email to Thruxton, but no reply as of yet.

Looking forward to the event on Sunday!

It's a long shot, but if anyone has a skid pan ticket they can't use I'd appreciate the chance to buy it smile
