TVR to Aston Ownership

Had the TVR 4 years now and getting the itch to change.
Looking at the Vantage Roadster, has any AM dealers offered a decent price on a TVR in part exchange or would it be best to sell my TVR privately and then have a better chance of any price negotiation?.
