To not believe that climate is changing quicker due to excessive carbon dioxide production is a form of denial, which is easy to justify as that means "we" have to do nothing at all...

Conversely,to believe that climate change in the most part is contributed to by any one form of CO2 emissions, is also madness. Cars are the obvious target due to how quickly we can replace them and the relatively low cost. Planes, manufacturing plants, powerstations etc are a bit trickier to make "greener".

What we will always struggle with, is the governments of the world appeasing Industry in this area. Would be nice if capitalism also had a social conscience rather than the frequent empty gestures we all see

BTW: CO2 is also exhaust gas from every animal on Earth, so perhaps they need to discuss population control aswell!

has anyone calculated the output of all animals on the planet yet? and how much of that result is the output of breathing humans?

In my opinion, its to late the climate change is in progress and unstoppable unless India and China close down thier industries , and the so called civilised west stop using carbon making fuels tomorrow
(such as stop using your car / bus/ van /lorry / moterbike / electricity / heating / ect)
its NOT going to happen folks, get used to the idea, we are on the road to extinction, the only hope (and pray it happens)
is we run out of fossil fuels with in the next 3 years, and we are forced to find better economic fuels to use : idea:

I don't believe British motorists are ignorant, what so the average person on the street does not know a lot about different engines? Does this really matter, except for people like ourselves where we know the ins and outs of cars. The average British motorist is quite an intelligent person, they know as soon as a particular fuel becomes more popular, the government will only put more tax on it. So in the end, very little benefit will be made, except for the environment and when you have life and you work the last thing on your mind is environmental issues. I am sure if they could they could run a car on water, but how would the government tax that!

By the way Hondas are not bad looking cars, I liked the S2000!

And despite the daily bullying by the media regarding artificial climate change I've yet to meet anyone that actually believes in it.
