Do we have moderators for BB?

Maybe we should change the title to Bully Bikers?

Is it me or are more and more cagers creeping into our little hollow to allow us to realise their feelings towards bikers in general.

BB has been a great forum for years with most users having a very mature attitude towards biking (track and road), other road users, public perception, etc.

BB is not full of the usual redneck throttle monkeys that most bike forums seem to have.

Can we please put a stop to this blatant stereo-typing? I couldn't give a flying donkey sh*t about what some bloke on some bike down some road may have done to someone driving a car. He wasn't me and I wasn't there, so as far as I am concerned the information provided in recent threads could be a complete fallacy.

Rant continues...........

I am not suggesting that we close down every thread that happens to have a small rant, but some of the recent stuff just seems to be people floating in, dropping off their crap, and expecting us to have an answer or excuse? WTF?

I wouldn't even suggest blocking, just being told to wind their neck in would be enough.

Not bullying as such, just blatant trawling for reaction. A point of an argument is for two or more parties to clarify and justify their opinions, eventually ending in some sort of conclusion or mutual dis-agreement. These threads seem to be in groundhog day, the same content being washed around. The people in question allay their point and then refuse to look at any other angle on the matter and then start taking things personally.

Us quiet bikers just want to talk sh*t about wheelies, track days, knee down antics, newbie assistance, roadcraft, safety, equipment, etc.

The recent threads have been pushing us all on the defensive.

I enjoy both cars and bikes for what they give me in pleasure. I have been driving a car in the past and witnessed complete pillocks on bikes, but I don't come straight to BB to tell everyone just how bad the individual was riding.

BTW, Just in case, I wasn't questioning the moderators abilities!! PH has a very sensible level of moderation that most other sites could learn from. You don't want people taking the p*ss, on the other hand you don't want Big Brother looking over your shoulder either.

Let's just move on and talk bikes.
