So as some of you know I am crocked at the moment and cannot ride, so I am back in 4 wheels and I have in a matter of just a week regained my hatred of scooter riders.

Having observed from the aircon surrounds of the motor in central London rush hour, I can safely say of motorbike riders, I can predict and anticipate what they want to do, they do not force me to make any actions that I wasn't intending on making. They read the road and understand that a signal means a car is making a change of direction and don't put themselves in harms way.

But Scooters ... they must be hard because generally the less safety kit they wear the more reckless they become.

So the list of crimes so far

1 Indicate left and turn right across 2 lanes of traffic without a life saver
2. Ride between 2 artics as the road narrows on the A40, ( that had me wincing)
3 As I indicate to turn left and start turning a scooter rides around the inside of me to carry straight on
4 Jump to the front of the queue in the middle and then proceed in a 50cc GP start wobbling and weaving into both lanes
5. Falling off the bike whilst stationary at the lights ... humiliating
6. Total life saver failure .... never seen a scooter rider use 1
7 Jump in front of a big bike at the front of the queue at the lights

Add your favorite scooter antics to the list
