Selling bikes - restore to original?
Discussion
Morning all
I'm wanting to change my bike (2001 blue R1) for a newer one (the 56 plate shape R1, not the minging new shape one).
Mine is almost mint (there's obviously the odd scratch etc) but has got a single seat cowl thing and a Blue Flame Evo high level titanium pipe (which does look very nice). I am thinking that the bike is probably worth no more money with these parts on and I would be better off refitting the (unmarked) original blue titanium can, rear footpegs and rear seat pad, thus restoring the bike to 100% original.
This would leave me to eBay the other stuff.
Or should I simply px/sell it as is? I'm tempted by the "back to original" idea.
