Driver's Side Wing Mirror

I damaged my drivers side wing mirror reversing the car out of the garage....

I have broken the ring plastic ring that clips into the front of the wing mirror, in front of the glass...

Tried the local scrappy (Trents) for a part but the only TVRs they had were being sold complete, and there were no Citroen CXs in stock either..

So wher is the best place to obtain a replacement part??

Went through a wing mirror incident the other month myself.

Got the parts from OZ Computers as recommended by 'S27' in the below topic.

I guess you need part no. 7 at £9.40.

I found them very reasonable with quick delivery.

You could also try Bell Hill Garage; they might have a used one already sprayed up.

I have bought two of the internal frames (L/H & R/H) from them at the end of last week, but am still awaiting their arrival. I hope they are not out of stock????

You can also convert the mirrors to Scirroco mirrors IIRC, someone will have the web address.

I had mine converted to corrado mirrors, which I think looks better, but more to the point they sit higher so I can see more

UPDATE:
I am now getting the corrado miror conversion done, will post pics as and when it is completed!

PS: So now have a new (passenger side) alloy internal frame for the Citroen mirror that is not needed, if anyone wants it??
(I used the drivers side one to repair the exisiting mirror)
