Radio/CD Removal Help

I'm in the process of installing the Mod-Wise aerial amplifier but am really stuck as to how to remove the radio unit itself in order to access the rear. What is the correct way to do this ?

I've never removed one before so is there a standard removeal method for all makes or does it vary ?
