Relative to Snett next Tuesday (let's hope this pleasant weather holds up because it'll be brilliant) >

Heads Up

The garage allocation has been changed recently so if you haven't received it direct from Amanda, please let me know via radicaloc@googlemail.com and I'll FW it to you.

If you're a Radical wielding trackdayer who is still on the cusp (i.e. shall I or shall I not go for it), look out of your window right now and imagine that on a very quick, nicely technical and extraordinarily clear track, then please contact me via radicaloc@googlemail.com asap for further details.

That was rotten luck Graham. I was trying to work out where you had gone as I hadn't seen a Clubsport for most of the day.

As I was finding it a bit difficult to keep track of the many opportunities there are for us use our Radicals in various forms of motorsport, to supplement the existing info on the ROC Sprint Championship and the Quaife Radical Club Cup and CCI Radical UK Championships, I have just expanded ROC's Calendar to include the dates and venues of such as the 750MC Bike-Sports, Castle Combe Special GTs, Open Sportscar Series and the Speed Series.

I hope this is of assistance.

Do remember that the dates shown are the actual racedays, so you will need to check such as testing and qualifying in case they are prior to those dates!

If you spot any errors or wish any other Series/Championships to appear on ROC's Calendar, please email me @ ROC.

Those of you who showed interest in Hans / Hans Post Helmets will now have an email in your Inbox letting you know what we've achieved on both, plus associated accessories; pretty good I think.

If you didn't get it and are interested in going Hans, not forgeting this deal is only available to ROC Members, let me know!

As just posted up on ROC, we look to have the chance to do another 'Exclusively Radical' Trackday!

Brands ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, No, not the short Indy Circuit, the full monty, the awesome GP Circuit! Monday, 11 July 2011, one Exclusively Radical 20 minute session every hour, all day long.

Subject to further details (obviously such as cost), show of hands ASAP please, indicating if you'll likely be on for it. Either by posting on here or via ROC.

Please mail/pm me for the key piece of missing information. If you know what it usually is 'down there', the more so in 'prime season', I think you'll be pretty pleased.

So heads up chaps, it's all down to numbers now. We have until midday THIS Sunday to achieve the requisite number; if we do by then, it'll happen, if we don't, it'll be pulled.

With thanks to those that have already, response so far? Pleasing, but not enough, scope/need for considerable improvement.

No pressure then!

Many thanks to all who have replied so far, be that in the positive (the majority) or the negative, because of things like holidays etc.

By way of an update >

Unfortunately having not yet heard from the likes of Radical themselves, 360 etc (who could easily make all the difference), so far, whilst we're getting there, we do not have enough as I pen this. I'd therefore appreciate if those of you who have yet to apply/focus your minds could do so during the course of today and let me know this evening.

Cost? Usually the GP Circuit is £500-ish at prime time, you'd fall off your chairs if I said half of that, so may be you'd just smile nicely if I said split the difference (including VAT)?

Heads Up All!

We are very nearly there - current shortfall of Rs could be counted on one hand - minus the odd digit!

D Day is first thing Tuesday, so for those that haven't yet, please apply your minds (to your diary etc) over the course of this Bank Holiday weekend and let me know asap / by close of same at latest.

Looking optimistic that Rad themselves will be there in some deep and meaningful form - could well include the Spares Truck which is always nice to know/have to hand just in case and think of all that P&P you could save!

If only it was at a decent track ........ not just the world-famous and totally awesome Brands Hatch GP Circuit hehe

C'MON GUYS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks to all who have replied thus far; rest assured that if you've said you'd like to do it, your name's on my list.

So

We are just TWO names shy on our list, whereupon the TDO is going to confirm/commit to it, then we're ON. Great. We need those two names between now and 10.00AM TOMORROW!

So to remind you >

1) Whilst about six weeks from now seems like ages away, it's not, especially when it comes to the TDO needing to commit to it. So heads-up.

2) There are only about ten 'full-on' trackdays per year on the GP Circuit and on none of those will you be on track with only sociable and helpful buddies in Rads. So this is your once and only opportunity to do so this year (and to boot, at appreciably less than the £500+ it normally costs to do a BHGP TD at this time of year.)

3) BHGP is awesome fun in a Rad; Radical Hero JW said that after last Thursday's TD and that was in a mixed car format; if someone of his eperience and calibre reckons that, then 'just with Rads', it must be 'something else'!

It's in your court then ...........

All you need to do is send me an email / PM saying 'Put my name down for this please'.

Fingers crossed, watch this space.

C'MON GUYS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Guys,

It appears that several people did not receive the Goodwood ROC Trackday email (possibly a server error). If any of you did not receive it and would like it sent again, drop me an email or post up on here.

Cheers,

WANTED - Another Radical for the Birkett 6 hour

The New Radicals team entered for the Birkett 6 hour relay race on the Silverstone Gran Prix (Yes, the GP circuit!!) on October 29th is looking for a fourth car and driver to replace James Breakell who has gear box problems.
Our team so far is:
Radical SR3 RS - Lee Bailey and Aaron Bailey
Radical PR6 - John Powis and David Watson
Radical SR4 - Oliver Cox

Any other Radical and one driver would be great to make us up to a 6 driver, 4 car team.

The format is fairly simple: One car out at a time. Race is divided up into (say) 3 lots of 20 minutes each. Next car out must be ready to go when current car returns to pits.
You need a National B licence.
Cost per driver is £230 for one hour's racing on Silverstone GP circuit. What a bargain!

If you're interested contact David Watson on 07919 345970 (watsondt@gmail.com) or Aaron Bailey on 07500 062087 (KCNAZZA@live.co.uk).

Go For It Chap!

The racing not the Cleese-type car thrashing! Couldn't ask for a friendlier set of team-mates.
I'd second that. If it weren't for the yellow cross on the back of my car, I'd jump at the chance.
