Modified Insurance + Track day cover.????

Hi Folks
Im in the process of hunting for some insurance to cover my 944S2,which will be modified "eventualy"
ie Suspension ,brakes + poss a Supercharger kit....among others....
What i need to know is ,, are there many , if any insurance co,s out there that will insure such a modded car.....+ to use it on Track..???
Ive done a bit of phoning around + have so far drawn a blank,, I seem to be finding that the co,s that "did" cover these cars now DONT TOUCH modified cars any longer....OR track days.....??????
Ive seen a few 968,s with SC kits on + wondered who insures them???
PS im the wrong side of 40 " [thats if there is a right or wrong side]" with a clean licence....

The only two companys I've heard of that provide track day and modified car cover are Adrian Flux and Competition car insurance.
Competition car insurance, provide mostly limited mileage policys and trackday only policys. They seem very profesional. Tel: 0115 941 5255

Adrian Flux quoted me a reasonable £800 for my everything modified 964 but no trackday cover. I've never made a claim so can't comment on their competance in that regard but they don't have the best reputation.
As above competition car insurance will cover trackdays but at a price, look at £10 per £1000 cover per day with 20% excess.
For low value cars like my 964 it doesn't make sense to insure on a daily basis as the numbers don't add up

Adrian Flux was about the only sensible premium i could get for my modded 968, where virtually all others refused to insure me.
A couple of months ago someone backed into my car and the estimate for repair has come out at £2,500. Adrian Flux so far have been right on the ball, prompt and continuous correspondance with the claim.
