The new volume has messed up my quoting, but in simple terms:

Old Rectory - yes, it’s fantastic

London Mews House - a hard no

Also, the phrase ‘bleached anus’ has rather unsettled me at this hour…

If I lived here, I couldn't think of single reason why I would ever need to leave the property.

Lovely part of the world.

Yes, really like this one a lot.

Bit of a retired military/RAF vibe?

The bar, or rather ‘pub’, is wonderful!

Here’s what I’m currently liking a lot https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/89904373

Know the area very well indeed - lived locally for a bit, and we absolutely adore the Dart, South Hams coast and we stay in Dittisham most years for a week on our way to Tresanton for a blow out.

On the other hand, anyone who knows Dittisham will know this place just up from the FBI which has had tons of work done over the past 3 years. Position is rather fab, though obviously touristy. but I cannot help but think the extension is a bit gash:

Very much ok once you’re inside though!

Does one take a punt on a basement garage and other rooms in the Netherlands? https://www.funda.nl/koop/eindhoven/huis-42688595-...

The lower ground "multi-functional" room off the garage looks like it has potential to be a car room of sorts but the short hallway linking them may not be wide enough. So it'll need to be filled with motorbikes instead....

The first one has been on a few times, seem to recall it's a party / holiday rental, at least it's finally under offer.

Love that. It's far too big for what I would need, but that pub is superb.
