I think if the order is in and confirmed those are just details. You have a slot allocated in the first batch I would say, even if you fill that stuff in later.

It might, but there is a massive difference between the GR Yaris hype (very special hot hatch, so it goes into a strong market) compared to the small sports coupe market (7500 GT 86 were sold in 9 years according to Toyota), and there was not that big of a demand for these cars here.

I am wondering if the 400 number people are floating here is a well calculated number by Toyota taking into account demand, for example they give us a small allocation so they can produce more of these for the North America market where it sells much better, so they just made the allocation for enthusiasts who wants it, and they do not really care for showroom sales. This would mean that anyone who really wants one can get one, and the people who are on the fence might not pay over for them.


Then again it is 2022, I would not be surprised at anything anymore

Managed to get mine ordered electric blue manual confirmation email at 10.28 so fingers crossed , ordering process was straightforward but only once I received an email from Toyota linking to the configurator nothing actually on Toyota's website even the dealer who I had originally ordered from had to ask me for the link for 2 other customers unfortunately too late for them.
To be honest I feel sorry for the dealers they've been given very little information by Toyota and were only told last week that it was online orders only.

Pretty sure we are not getting the Red contrast in the UK.
I think its just a Silver stripe down the seats & Black carpet.

I was tempted with the Grey but glad I went with Pearl White!

My order confirmation was sent at 10:21 and the £1k deposit cleared out of my account last night so I think that means I’ve bagged one. Fingers crossed!

Phoned nominated dealer and they know nothing and sound well p155ed too. They'll chuck me the keys when it arrives. There's nothing in it for them.
