Would anyone have a recommendation on somewhere we could hire a Jensen Interceptor for a weekend, in the Yorkshire area?

We've found 1 place (Bygone Classic) who are asking over £1000. Feels too steep, I see at least one other place in the South who are nearer to £500. Struggling to find many options.

Much appreciated.

Not many options?

I'm amazed you found anywhere to hire one.

The cost seems ok to me considering the car. Its not like its a Ford Focus that the hire company can readily fix or replace in the event of a crash.

I'm sure you're a lovely chap, but I wouldn't loan you mine for a weekend for £1000!

Yeah I see your points. Probably more niche than I'd given it credit for...

This is absolutely not a reference to Bygone Classic, but a few years ago, investigative journalism unearthed a scam whereby lenders of ‘ exotic’ cars always found fault(s) when you returned them.

Have you spoken to Cropredy Bridge? if anyone would know people hiring them out it would be them.

As a former Interceptor owner, the one down South might sound a more attractive option, but if you are aiming to drive it up to Yorkshire and around that area you will quickly find that the money you have saved over the £1000 option will be quickly spent on fuel. Mine did 10 mpg around town and about 16 mpg on a run, provided I didn’t use the loud pedal too much!
They are great cars and I loved mine, but the cost of fuel these days means that I don’t miss it as much as perhaps I should. Having said that, if I get lucky with the National Lottery, I would have a nice restored model (probably from Cropredy Bridge) and a custom built restomod (probably from JIA). Good luck in your search.

The wouldn't get involved in hiring themselves (who would?), but as you say, they may know someone.

As would the JOC:

But of course, you've already tried Google:
