EVO Gallardo v 997 Turbo v Conti GT
Discussion
Thought I'd start this as, now that I've read the article, there's bound to be some chat.
I've always considered the 911 Turbo to be the ultimate all-weather performance car (though the M3 does a fine job also).
I can see the point of EVO's comparison now, the Gallardo and Conti representing the two ends of the spectrum that the Turbo has traditionally connected. Supercar performance, GT comfort and usability.
Clearly the Turbo has lost none of it's punch, and can still stand comparison with cars that cost substantially more (£25K more in the case of the Gallardo) and are much more specialised.
So, the brilliant road car we were expecting then. Perhaps I should ask EVO for my four quid back?!
