knowing whether a camera is on or off is imaterial, 60% of camera`s are just boxes and swapped with other camera`s on random occasions. just because one camera is scanned as off on one day doesn`t guarentee it will be off the next. and the detector only tells you if its on once youre ontop of it.

There was an interesting experiment done a few years back. They took Mr Jones Average Citizen and drove a number of cars past him at exactly xx mph. He had to say which ones were going faster than xx mph. Oddly he wildly overestimated the speed of the Escort with loud music and a 17yo driving, and underestimated the 50yo Woman in her Micra... Well I never!
