Discussion
According to the Metro today (Edinburgh edition).
"Hidden cameras are helping police catch seven times as many speeding drivers as they did five years ago. However the blitz on speeding is having little effect on driving behaviour.
Home office figures show 3,499 cameras were hidden in police cars, vans and motorbikes last year up from 2,601 in 2003.
The extra surveillance allowed police forces in England and Wales to catch 1.8 Million people for speeding, seven times more than in 2000-01.
