So GUV10 how has your employed received the news of your fine? Your credibility or the job itself at stake?
As part of the terms under which company cars were supplied my employees were told that should they incur any fines as a result of speeding etc they would not only be expected to pay the fines but also any additional insurance premium that the company incurred. Moreover upon 6 penalty points being incurred the company car would be withdrawn & should they wish to stay in my employ they would have to source & fund the running of a car themselves. Over a period of 10 years with some15 company car drivers, some doing 40k miles per year including myself only 1 employee lost his job as a result of 6 penalty points & only another 3 got caught speeding.
