£1 damages award in WAG-gate - plausible?
Discussion
My dad suggested to me today that the judge could maybe find for Vardy but award £1 in damages with both parties paying costs. Does this seem a plausible solution? At first I thought it was silly but the following seem kinda clear:
1. Vardy agent at a minimum was leaking stuff
2. Rooney not averse to publicity seeking herself
3. Entire thing is a massive waste of money and court time
And the following is likely:
1. Technically not possible to prove Vardy was personally leaking anything
2. Judge would want to send out message about wasting court time
Does this seem plausible to legal eagles?

I’m not a legal eagle, nor a paralegal seagull. I’m not even a Kestral.
It does though seem that neither party gives a monkeys about the costs or even the award of damages. If they did they’d have settled months ago. They want to be proved right and in Vardy’s case she wants her name cleared. Which is ironic given that her own evidence has made her look like a thick narcissist.

I just enjoy the clips of Wayne arriving & leaving court. Never has a man looked more like he was told he had to be there but really doesn't want to be.
When I saw Colleen Rooney on the news last night going into court, I thought that the security with her looked a bit like Wayne and maybe it was his fatter older brother, or a cousin, perhaps.PorkInsider said:

Lol, no idea why photography still isn't permitted in court. These sketches are complete garbage. He had a great career but there is a nugget of truth in the observation when comparing his career trajectory versus Cristiano. As teenagers Rooney was considered every bit as talented as Ronaldo. It’s not hard to surmise that had he shown a fraction of Ronaldo’s dedication to his profession i.e. laying off the smokes, hookers and pints, he might have been even better.
Of course he probably doesn’t give a monkeys given how rich and successful he’s been regardless.
