Years ago we built a skatepark in town, after a while this attracted the "wrong sort" in the evening, the PCSOs did a great job of patrolling, talking to the yoofs, stopping it turning into a rough area. So yeah, for that sort of low level preventative stuff.

They probably don't always interact in a positive way because they get sick and tired of know it all idiots disrespecting them all the time
You mean sick and tired of people knowing whats correct? We don’t live in a dictatorship like North Korea or Iran.

Respect is earned and not automatically given.

Good job we aren’t even 1% of the way to that then.

One would have thought that going into a job trying to help the public in general might earn some of that respect but there we go.

This is the nearest I've had to any interaction with a PCSO. Patrolling the local park, possibly being ready to clear it should the Air Ambulance appear. Pic from Facebook page.

Wonder why he left?
Surprised he hasn’t mentioned how he was arrested and treated so badly by everyone.

Having said that a full bird sergent stopped me years not RPU, he believes not indicating in a left hand only turn lane is driving without due care! I said good luck with that. I nearly went full alan shore on him " I am ready to take you on and everyone your married to, let the games begin"

I am convince avon and somerset basic training is largely paint pride flags by numbers at this point.

I tend to start from an approach of respect to all people, it is up to the other person if they erode it, but they don’t have to ‘earn’ respect at the start.

It strikes me that he's clearly got a problem with the sergeant being a female.

Of course you do, dear. Now let's get you back into the day room ready for tea.

How embarrassing.

He says "he" and "him" so I assume not.

Having read many of the OP's toils over the past few years, including this illiterate one, I'm not so confident he'd have the adequate skills to convey that level of detail intentionally so let's not get ahead of ourselves! It could just be random key smashes that look like words.

I’m hoping it’s chatgpt gone terribly wrong, but based on the op and his subsequent responses he really does sound terribly drunk.

THIS ^^^^ Previous stuff I have seen OP post was interesting.
There's another PHer with a similar username. Could be mixing them up?

Good 👍

Why on earth is a PCSO doing traffic stops, that’s what gets me!

They aren’t trained or tasked they should just radio someone and note the reg and report.

I don’t know about the designation card can someone confirm they need that? Quick Google suggests yes!
