Worth an appeal?
Discussion
Can an appeal hurt? Probably not so worth a go right.
That said, it does seem she drives off inside the bus lane when perhaps the intention is that you drive out of the space past the bus lane and carry on up the road in the car lane.
As someone says further up the thread, it's a tad sh!tty/deliberate of the council to put that camera facing that exact spot knowing people must do this due to the road layout. It may be a mistake, but with some of these things you can't help feel set up to make a mistake.

If you can legitimately enter the bus lane to park in those spaces, then the same must apply when exiting them.
So yes - definitely worth an appeal.
That’s not what she’s being fined for she was almost in the non painted bus lane but drove off in the bus lane instead. I’d be surprised if this appeal is successful. So yes - definitely worth an appeal.

I had an unlicensed driver accident 3 years ago and police had zero interest in prosecuting the guy, turned out it was not his first crash without a licence.
They just can't be bothered, fining licence holders seems much more interesting.
Also my experience with newer police officers they don't even know what driving laws are, the chap who volunteered with us who was a PC but has since left after failed he probation didn't know about commercial vehicle speed limits when he was pulled up driving a service van at 60 on a national he was stunned.
