Resolved

Dealer was astonished that car had a marker against it.

Car bought by dealer from bca title all clear.

Dealer stated it's a mistake and clerical error, car shows clear on autotrader hpi check.

Dealer has now had marker removed from hpi check lists so car has clear history.

Dealer has also bought car back at private retail price.

All turned out well in the end.

Great he got it sorted but how has the dealer cleared the cars history. It was still stolen then recovered so wouldn’t that have stayed for life?

He must have had a case of it being a clerical error, I too thought it would have been impossible to have the marker removed but it has been done....
