I know one shouldn't laugh at someone elses misfortune but I have a colleague who always takes the opprtunity to extract the michael over what he calls my obsession with speed cameras.
The day before yesterday, while we were having lunch, he mentioned the road works on the M62 and how inconvenient the reduced limit was, also how he didnt take much notice of it as there didnt appear to be anyone working there. I asked him if he saw any cameras there and he said he had not. I advised him to check, and yesterday he said there appeared to be some on a blue pole, but they hadn't flashed him. SPECS I said and when he checked out the website the ones described were exactly like the ones he saw! I explained about them measuring ones speed between 2 points and that he was probably going to get NIPs.
Now he is very subdued and when I saw him today he was about to look at the ABD, pepipoo websites and I recommended he looks in here as well.
It's only one more, but hopefully he will tell his mates, and his gf works for SKY news(I think)or some other TV company.

I always do 50 through there and im always overtaken by people who must be the wrong side of 70!
Agreed, i was on there yesterday and was the only car doing 50, was overtaken mostly by speeding lorries.
Didnt realise they had SPECS on there though, i normally drive at 50 and perhaps drift up to 55 in parts (im not expected to check my speed CONSTANTLY am i?
