Is anybody able to shed some light to the following:
Currently my 1965 Lotus Seven S2 is going through its restoration. As the German authorities require you to have some kind of anti-theft-equipment I have decided to put in the Caterham S3 steering column (which adds some advantages due to being collapsible) and the suitable steering lock. The parts went in smoothly and I am planning the electricity harness right now.

As I want the car to be as original as possible I do not intend to add a lot of modern relay boxes to reduce currents going via the ignition barrel. Searching the web I have not been able to find any technical data of the ignition barrel. What would be the maximum current (A) going permanently via the contacts?

Thanks in advance for any help.
