Calling George Mokka,
Just seen the New Mokka from Vauxhall. Available in ICE and full EV and I for one think it shows a new design style possibly due to Peugeot’s ownership and looks less bland than a lot of their range. I hope it sells well. What do you think?

I think it’s far better looking than the old one, but a) that’s not saying much, and b) it’s yet another bland SUV when you’re clambering for a “normal” EV.

Very nice, smart colour too, but I'm a big Vauxhall fan. (There, I said it)

Lovely colour. Stylistically... meh. It's just another small crossover. Not offensive by any means, but hardly attractive.

The side view is very Peugeot 2008.

Bit strange this thread should come up, I was just thinking Peugeot’s current line up have some different looking cars as a result of reading SOTW (Shed stating all cars look the same these days).
The Mokka does look decent and will probably be decent in other respects.

As it’s basically a 2008 with different lights and badges there’s not much shock there.

The new styling is how all Vauxhall’s with start to look. Corsa/208 is very similar.

I think that it has its own look with the Adam style roofline. I recently test drove the new Corsa EV and was very impressed with the Peugeot drivetrain. I came away thinking it was a good car but the 208e had better styling. This in EV has an 8 yr warranty and I think goes some way to addressing my concerns. And yes I may now like the Mokka. I’ll get my coat.

If you took the badges off I would guess it’s a Citroen

The battery has an 8 year warranty (pretty standard in EV/Hybrid) not the car itself.

And to me. The Mokka is one of those cars the internet driving gods like to st on, when in fact it’s always been perfectly acceptable transport for those who buy them. This new one is a huge improvement though, and a full EV option is great.
