VX Colours

Out of all the VX's seen so far Yellow seems to be the most popular colour.

I have a yellow one outside at the moment.

But they're coming to take it back tomorrow.

The VX220 board did a poll in May...

1st Silver (16)
2nd Red (13)
3rd Yellow (11)
4th Blue (7)
5th Black (6)

Ive noticed the VX colours are....well,not very bright,,not sure about the vauxhall colour scheme.

Seen Red,Black and Yellow so far ,think GM could of done better with the colours,,the drab colours in my opinoin look more at home on a saloon not sporty like the car,havent seen "manderin Orange" yet tho,,sounds very edible.

It's a very bright metallic orange... Not to my taste, but you wouldn't miss one!

Take back what i said about the colour,saw a nice Red one today parked up,the colour close up looked good,,it looked like it was very lightweight inside what with carpet inserts and ali all around and although it wasnt a turbo,i would imagine that fun could be had with that 2.2 sat up back,liked the wheels aswell.

The VX colours can be bright!
Calypso Red, Lightning Yellow, Europa Blue and Coral Blue are all very bright. Some colours do need to be clean to look bright. My Europa blue can look a little dull when it's dirty, but when you wash it (and especially if you polish it), the brightness is quite shocking

DMc - closest to Ford Racing Blue is probably Coral Blue I think, which is a Turbo only colour. Europa blue is the closest on the NA. Have a look in the galleries on the VX220.org.uk for examples of teh colours
