I dunno, you only need to use the brakes twice in the MX5
I reckon it will be a fine balancing act removing just enough grip to trade for power so that you still just make the turns, but are also fast on the straight bits.
I've just been round in an '87 Skyline on Wanlee ditchfinders

I think we'll see top 150-100 this week, not sure about lower than that though.. will wait and see once you, CT and cutters get warmed up ;-)
Eclipse is quite good so far, i was chasing AJP there and it felt like i needed NOS and a 14 speed gearbox to match his F&F paintjob .There are a few different Skyline versions on the board, so hopefully it will stay to a range of cars through the week. I've just done the Mitsubishi GTO and Eclipse so far, I haven't tried any Skylines yet. It's definitely a speed track like Shinysideup says though, but still with enough grip to get through the corners.

Yes, you must not forget that extra bit of accelerator pedal travel that you have too, as clearly you were not properly trying before..
I did tune up an eclipse and did the F&F paintjob but haven't tried it yet as I wanted to stick with rear wheel drive for a while..I thought that eclipse was front wheel drive so was surprised that it was 4wd.

Well I know my place, stone dead last
No points again this season for me, think it was Von who called me the force India of this couple weeks ago, more like Minardi now I fear, can't find a build or setup to get anywhere out of 3 min mark
Its really hard to find that balance between grip and speed.

The Eclipse should do it but it just doesn't seem eager enough.
I'm not great at tuning.
Still haven't tried a Skyline
. They seem to have dropped off the leaderboard tonight though. Tried a 240SX and didn't gain anything with the way I set it up. Tried a Trueno and things improved. I'll probably try an MX-5 next, and maybe eventually before Sunday, a Skyline
.
How often is the Backstage car list updated? Before now there's been a car in there I didn't own already, this week I've got 2 tickets but I own all the cars on the list.

Holy hell, how many engine options does the 240 have
Its gonna take days to test them
Haha,
Its gonna take days to test them

There are quite a few, the stats seem a little odd though, one tune I tried was 400bhp with a weight of say 1.2 tonnes, it should have been like a rocket ship but it just wasn't.
I've not tried 4wd yet, though, I was unsure with this PI whether 4wd would Rob too much top end and front grip??

I thought the same at first, but AWD allows you to run stock tyres and reasonable power. With RWD, I found that to be able to avoid wheel-spinning everywhere, upgraded tyres were needed. I think upgraded tyres use more PI than AWD conversion.
Although at first I was determined to stick to RWD, once I converted to AWD I went over 3 secs faster.

Maybe I'll try a few 4wd conversions on the various Nissan's. I love how much tuning/mod potential there are with these cars, the wide body conversions can really help with handing.
The 240 I've been chasing is rapid in a straight line, just too much too overcome for me so I'll be trying one of those next, the gen 1 RX7 is nice, not trued the Starion so I'll give that a go later too.
What sort of mods are people doing, is there a mod you go to first as I seem to mess about a lot and get a bit lost as I don't really know whats best.
Someone shared a base setting for 4wd different which is good but tuning? Not a clue really other than negative camber
