Yay, a point. I was going to have one last go lastnight but I watched TV instead. I got to where I was with the standard 1.6 rally engine, wider stock tyres and a few bits of gearbox, suspension and aero. The next go would have been adding engine mods and taking off other bits. TC definitely helped with the rally engine and stock tyres.

Happy to get to sub 3:50. Sub 3:40 is just ridiculous and unnecessary hehe .

OOoo some points! Kudos to anyone who got Kitch's tune round quick I tried and found it horrendous hehe My sausage fingers didnt have the throttle control to keep the constant wheelspin in check so stuck with my balanced setup

I was using the kitch car and was actually very surprised as to how good it was with that much speed laugh because it handled well too, my runs were error strewn though so I was well happy with my time but as aj said, anything under 1.40 was just ridiculous, I just don't know how they make such clean passes frown
I was smashing down fences on my best run laugh
Well done von

Some fantastic times this week, don't think I've ever seen such gaps before. I'd always assumed TC would be slower but clearly it can be faster under certain circumstances.

Well done for the win Von.

Thanks all - i do the seasonal challenges with my mate and we often do 1800bhp B class monstrosities which are impossible to control just to make it fun, so I've had a lot of practice with this sort of thing hehe

FH5 has been announced at E3. Unless it has proper wheel/pedal support ahm oot.

I don't know how you lot hustle cars round these tracks so quickly and accurately with just a controller.

Thing is its not a sim and has always been better on a controller.
You know you can play it for fun rather than trying to be in a real car.
You are missing out if you do though.

I'm getting mx5 flashbacks laugh

What are all your feelings on cars, the mustangs have the speed but I cant get any of them to handle, the camaro is a nice mix of speed and handling, the 09 corvette is a peach.
Its a good track and you wouldn't want a higher pi, the jump into the fast left is a tricky one laugh

hehe

Car history in this so far: The first car I set a time with and liked was the Camaro ZL1, tried a few others and didn't get in with them so much, then tried the Holden Gen F (I think it's called that) and set a better time, then the the 09 Corvette and with the setup I've got I like it and went better again. I've packed in for tonight but I'm trying the 13 Mustang now. So far I've needed the better tyres for the fast corners, it's not like the Fiesta where you can hoof it round with stock tyres and twelvety hundred horsepower (for me anyway).

I've gone race tyres on everything so far, race suspension, gearbox and final drive, 4wd (of course laugh ) and not much tuning.
My limit is me, I need to properly nail the course and be consistent.

There's a very sharp right hander after a fast downward sloping section that always catches me out, I either brake too early or too late and go head on into the barrier.

Really like this track though cool

In the last hour or so, a few hundreths at a time, set to my own ghost, I've gone from 0.4 exactly behind Kitch to 0.2 exactly behind Kitch, and I am broken doing it hehe .

You were on at the same time as me, I got you on the line but to my dismay it said you were my new rival as you'd just moved the goalposts laugh
You're fast on the last section.

Just spent 2 hours putting times in, had to restart more times than I can count from messing up the fast corners and brushing the walls on the way out!

Hard work in this heat... I'm now more than a little sweaty! laugh

I think I'm done to be honest, I've been persevering with rear wheel drive only to see how fast i can get.. surprisingly I'm still suffering with some understeer in some cases.

I can't get close to cutters so no idea what tune is on that viper.

Good track though and decent cars.
