All very pretty but the actual 'game' part looks as boring as the last one. I'm evidently just not who this is all aimed at I guess.

I wish they'd go a bit more serious with the Horizon games. An open world Forza sounded cool on paper, but then they went really arcade with the handling and physics and added dodgy car rosters. No, you can't drive a Mazda 787b, but you can drive all these SUVs! Wow, great.

I think Forza Motorsport is what you're meant to go for if you want a more 'sim' experience...

I only had Forza Horizon as it was included with the bundle when I bought my One X, gave it a play as it's a car-related game but never really went back to it after a few hours of driving around and looking at how nice it all looked.

Did they actually do anything with the handling etc?
I’m sure going into the early Horizon games the blurb was that it was going to be better than all the previous arcade stuff like Test Drive / NFS because they were keeping the Forza motorsport physics engine?

I’d always thought the cars drove pretty similarly between Horizon and Motorsport. I think it is the roads in Horizon generally being more open and wide, meaning you go faster everywhere that makes it feel more arcadey.

I've always wanted to see a proper roadside camera like you get in the Forza Motorsport games , I'm guessing that can't happen due to the size of the maps?

They are now aiming Horizon at a younger age group. That is where the money is being made. Motorsport is what they aim at an older age group.

The previous one was really, they all are as the whole festival bit is properly cringey and aimed at teenagers.

I just like going for a drive and groan when I end up near the festival site, such a massive wk fest that it is.

The girl saying she hasnt seen you in one of her showcases for a while "Hey there...." and all that.
