Sorry to keep harping on about this but .... It's just amazing ! Not been as enthused about something for a long time. Playing Dead Read 2, Forza and Elite last night. It's almost like having a new console.

Incredible how the tech has come on in 5 years.

OLED is pretty amazing.
I remember standing inches away from an 80 inch in Currys once and I couldnt see the pixels.
Just be careful of burn in they are prone to though, especially with games with constant HUD elements.

Bought an OLED LG B7 in 2017 for gaming.

Zero burn in so far so I would not worry.

I have a B9 and CX that are used for gaming, no sign of burn in yet but they haven't been used that extensively.

There's a pixel shuffling type effect available in the options somewhere I think, just move things around by a pixel or so to try and help prevent it. There's also a pretty effective HUD detection which then reduces the brightness of the HUD elements, although sometimes it can seem to miss it for a while.

Very helpful when playing something like DayZ where there is zero light so the whole screen is very very dark but then the HUD is retina searingly white hehe

I love my LG CX , in fact. Now have 2 one in the living room and 2nd for the games/cinema room..

It is such a great telly with all the gaming features and being oled just makes everything look stunning..

I recently added the govee immersion rgbic led kit to it.. here's a link to how amazing that is too.

It adds that extra dimension that just seems to suck you in to the game more.. and it's a fraction of the cost of the Philips hue ambilight stuff
