Bloody stunning pics Rob! Location, composition and lighting are all superb.

How do you capture the night sky like that? Are they multiple exposures? Care to share some tips and settings? It is Xmas after all..

Well somebody has to follow God Rob! bow

Relatively quiet year for me - still enjoying it but a bit more selectively nowadays smile

Hadn't noticed before but my 5 most 'successful' shots (in Flickr terms anyway) all feature reflections. They are in chronological order but my favorite has to be the Torridon shot - we'd had a lot of wild weather and I didn't expect to have the chance to get anything like this.

Torridon shot is superb DD!

I've had a quiet year for shooting myself, too busy doing actual photo business stuff to get out and shoot, need to balance that more

Can't compete with the above but here's the best I could muster this year...

Jodrell Bank. This one was very frustrating as it's a 1 hour drive and as I'd been using the camera for work prior to, I was shooting in fcensoreding JPEG.

fk! that's good.

Mind you give me a Lanc and a light, some smoke and some blokes, I'd have a good shot at it.

ETA: Rob should be disqualified from this thread and this forum. I think we all know why.

(He's living on another planet)

I have a few 'reportage' pics of around here that I'm uploading to Youtube tonight, so I'll post a link when the pigeon arrives. (We don't yet have superfast pigeons).

Cheers Steve

Not difficult to achieve once all the elements were in place but I was very happy with the results.

Fine work as always everyone, this thread never disappoints.
A quiet year for me photographically due to other commitments. When I have found the time I've tended to reach for my X-Pro2 rather than my Canon gear. Most of what I've done this year has been black and white. A selection:

The standard of work on PH never ceases to amaze me. This thread is incredible every year but inevitably gives one a certain sense of inferiority!

This year has been about two things for me and my photography, really. Automotive and travel. Just couldn't get the work in weddings that I wanted. So, with that in mind, I'll try to narrow it down to 5, with the caveat that all could probably be improved with the experience I've gained this year.

It was hard to pick though, with sentimental value competing with artistic/technical achievement.
