I'm not really in to doing funny filters or 'vintage' looks on pictures, but this one seemed to work.

Ooooh that’s nice ! Location?
It's Dubai Marina, taken in December 2013 from the roof of the Cayan tower (the well known twisty one in the Dubai Marina).

Picked up an RX100 iii a few days ago as I just don't take out my SLR. Took it out last night on the local lockdown walk to get an idea of it's low light capabilities, and was pleasantly surprised for it's size. However, what I thought was remarkable was the horse staying almost perfectly still for the full 25s exposure biggrin.

Noticed some cool Christmas lights put up under a bridge near where I live so popped out with the car and the camera the other night and tried some shots:

Arrived early for a pre-lockdown (November) catch up with a mate and thought the abbey looked nicely framed by the buildings and lights here.

Thought the last image deserved printing, so fired up the Canon Pro-1000, put in some A2 Fotospeed Platinum Baryta paper and 'very pleased with end result' - can't beat printing big!

Here's one I took as a 16 year old lad with my Dad on the 1981 RAC Rally parc ferme at Chester... As it's a car forum. I'm sure you all know who it is!

Possibly my all-time favourite night shot, photographed for Built Customs, who built the bike.
