There are Premier Inns in both Worcester and Kidderminster as well as other hotels.

Some of us will travel down (up?) on the Friday.

I'll put together a run-out for Saturday - there are plenty of interesting places to visit nearby.

We should have a get together evening meal on the Saturday - any suggestions please.

Sunday we will gather at the hillclimb and ten off home later in the afternoon.

TVR S CLUB HEAVEN 2025; SHELSELY WALSH CLASSIC NOSTALGIA 19/20 JULY.

Nice to think of a summer activity! Can you all get it in your diary please?

Confirmation that the annual meet of S cars and owners will take place this year at the famous Shelsely Walsh Classic Nostalgia hill climb. near Gloucester. We have never been there before for a S Club meet but we are promised a great weekend.

SHELSELY WALSH; the oldest motor sport venue in the world! Visit https://www.shelsleywalsh.com/ for an overview. See link below for booking which also gives far more detailed information about this classic event.

FORMAT. Saturday: we intend to meet up Saturday morning 10.00am for breakfast, or coffee for those who stayed Friday night. Location to be confirmed. There will then be a choice; Shelsely is a two day event and some may wish to go there on Saturday to see the activities. There will also be two options for a drive out with a visit. More details later.
Sunday meet up at Shelsely Walsh BEFORE 10 am to a designated area for our gathering. We plan to have a selection of other TVR models to join us to make a proper club display. There is a lot going on at this event and it will be a busy day! Somehow we will fit in a 'favourite S' competition and awards!

COSTS; you will need to pre purchase tickets for entry to Shelsely. For us as a pre registered club entry, the costs are £15 per person, per day, (not per car this year) If booked by April, then £20 per head per day. There will be a small additional cost for trophies etc but I will trust you and share the costs amongst you at the weekend.

TICKETS and REGISTRATION please see the attached from Shelsely. On the drop down menu please find TVR Car Club. They will be adding a sub group to that labelled SCH. Please make your booking there. https://www.shelsleywalsh.com/events-1/classic-nos...
They will give me a monthly email on numbers but I will need more than that. So when you book, can you also PM me with your car type and reg no, and mobile phone number (for a Whatsapp group to be created nearer the time). I will let you know every month or so who has registered.

ACCOMODATION. CAMPING; there is on site camping at Shelsely for the weekend which can be booked directly through the above booking site.

HOTELS; there are economy hotels in the Worcester and Kidderminster area but a wide variety of other hotels in what is a popular holiday area. We are not going to try to gather people at one hotel. However those who do book early are invited to tell us where they are staying as others may chose to stay in the same hotel and convoy in the mornings.

MEMORABILIA; we have often had memorabilia prepared for this event, at cost. I am not currently planning anything this year unless there is a demand to do so.

ENTERTAINMENT; there will be live entertainment during the day and, for those camping overnight, there will be evening entertainment with 50's/60's music.

Please note that dogs are not allowed on the hillclimb site.
Any queries please get back to me.
