Hey Ropey, just saw your profile and have put 2 and 2 together. I think you were behind me a couple of weeks ago on Grays Inn Road (going North) about 10.30am. I was in the blue Tamora - I waved but don't think you saw me. Think I saw you again the next day on the Euston Road going East at about 2pm. Was it you?

Hi K.K.
Did you get pointed in the direction of P.h. by some strange bloke outside Liverpool St Station a couple of months back? If so that was me

If not another car about very similar to yours...

KK. Don't think it was me either time - if it was I didn't spot you. I've only ever seen 1 Tamora in town, and that was coming off Old Street roundabout heading up City Road - I was on foot that day, and it was white anyway. Sorry!

But, hey, may see you next week anyway.

Anyone gonna clarify as to where this place is??

Let's say Wed 4th, at least that gives us an extra week to drum up interest.

Don't look in the London forum that much, so have just seen this!

4th is good for me, so will see you all there!

Is it worth booking the side room bit where we started last time?

Captain Kidd is on Wapping High Street, just 1 minute walk from Wapping tube station (East London line) - turn left out the station - pub is on the same side of the road.

Most people leave their cars at home, and partake in a few There is a bit of parking on Wapping High St, but if you do leave your car there, make sure you don't leave anything on display as there are quite a few scrotes in the area.

Cool - would be good if you could make it! I'd better ask them to turn up the aircon and get more ice cubes in!

I've reserved the smallish room with the big wooden table (to the left of the bar), so if the weather's not too great, we'll at least have somewhere to sit.

Right, I really must get to this event!!

But my sense of direction is appauling.

I am sure I have asked this before... but is there an 'idiots guide' to getting to this pub?

Or.. anyone from South Quay / WI Quay / CrossHarbour area going.. who wouldnt mind having a few drinks bought for them in return for path finding!!

Piece of cake! Get to Wapping tube station (on the East London line) and turn left out the station so that you walk up Wapping High Street in the direction of Tower Bridge and away from Canary Wharf.

The pub is on the left (same side as the station), and is about 1 minute walk from the station.

The D3 bus also stops outside Wapping station, and you can get this from around the Canary Wharf/Westferry Circus area.
