I've had some damage caused to my car and my independent bodyshop is only able to obtain an approximate colour, leaving me no choice to take the car to an official BMW bodyshop.
Looking for recommendations from anyone with positive experience to point me in the right direction?

When my factory order X5M arrived it had paint defects in 3 panels and needed to have a large area repainted and blended. I wasn’t best pleased and considered rejecting the car. Cooper BMW car clinic in Boldon took care of the work and I must say it was spot on. I.e. you would never know. Also used Lloyd’s in Newcastle and was also impressed with finish. Age and condition of the paintwork will obviously make it more difficult and time consuming to match.

Thanks for replying. How recent were these experiences?

Coopers would have been April 2017 and Lloyd around the same time (this was work on my 458) as I needed somewhere skilled and specialist in dealing with aluminium panels - quite an impressive setup and they look after Bentley and Porsche approved paintwork as well as BMW, etc.

Thanks for that Gary. I'll have a look up to Lloyd for an estimate.
