Wow, it's been a while for this thread.
New arrival, in the midst of CV19 (bought just prior to things getting serious). Unusual spec which really works for me (obviously!).
My first Porsche. I recently joined PCGB if anyone is also on there
Stunning love the colour and those arches it must be killing you not being able to use it at the moment New arrival, in the midst of CV19 (bought just prior to things getting serious). Unusual spec which really works for me (obviously!).

I've wanted an Exige ever since the S1 came out 20 years ago but my wallet was never fat enough. Then I owned an S1 Elise for a while which was wonderful but came with the various K-series headaches that I could happily live without so the idea of a highly strung K-series in an S1 Exige was no longer quite as appealing. As was the total lack of a boot for touring. But by then of course the S2 Exige was on the market and although it was slightly less hardcore, if anything it was even more appealing for me. I first looked at buying one of these over 10 years ago. I then got married and had kids and my toys have either been cheaper or 4 door ever since. But last year, I decided to bite the bullet and picked this up from Jon Seal just before Xmas. 20 years of waiting over!
The car is quite low mileage and more or less immaculate and since it's a third car I intended to keep it garaged throughout winter months and use it from spring onwards. But I did do a few trips in it before I tucked it up but it's not really a car for greasy winter roads. Then CV19 arrived and it became clear that not only might driving it become a no-no but also that money could become very tight (both self employed). So I gave it a couple of hours of outing the day before the tighter lockdown measures were announced and it's been SORN'd in the garage ever since. Luckily work has kept coming in so it should still be sat there when opportunities to use it come around again.
