Anyone heading down tomorrow? I am tempted but not sure I can handle getting up so early on a Sunday, especially when defrosting might be required.

On the flip side it’s surely going to be quieter than normal?
Cool. Quite a few last month. If the weather is ok there should be a good turn out.

Wow, huge turnout in the end. Think there were a lot of pent up petrolheads ready to get Christmas & New Years out their minds!

Few pics, random selection.

Nice to have a chat with everyone. Anyone local give me a shout for any car stuff, I tend to end up at most Castle Combe events / Queens Square / Prescott / Sherborne etc.

Was me in the Evora. byebye

Nice to chat with you and hope you're enjoying the 4C. smile

Was absolutely rammed all morning, and when I was leaving (at 2pm) there was at least one car stuck in the mud unable to get out! Had they directed me on to the grass I'd have just turned round and gone home as I got it stuck at the Goodwood Members Meet a couple years ago and trying to get it out was no fun at all.

Nice to meet you smile. If you’re ever out in the V12 let me know, would love to meet it. Be good to meet more Somerset petrol heads, all my car friends are near London now! I think I may have bumped into you on Reddit & OcUK aswell!

Sure I'll have it at a future meet down there - would have taken it along this weekend as I forgot to SORN it, but was meeting up with some friends who wanted to see the Evora.

Not sure how I feel about that, part of it's allure is the range of people and cars it attracts. It's great to have Ferrari's next to Pre-War next to pops & bangs fiestas.

Can't deny it's not uncontrollably popular though, I queued 45 mins for coffee in January - won't be doing that again!

You can still attend though , it's just if your cars from the wrong era you'll be parked out the back .

As posted above - thanks Saleen 836 - from March, the very popular Haynes Breakfast Club is now being split into two car meetings.
Future Classics - (Post 1980) will continue to be held on the FIRST Sunday of the month
But
Vintage and Classics - (Pre 1980) will be held on the SECOND Sunday of the month

https://www.haynesmotormuseum.com/sites/default/fi...

2020 Dates for post 1980 cars - "Future Classics"
1 March
5 April
3 May
7 June
5 July
2 August
6 September
4 October
1 November
6 December

ps There is nothing to stop anyone attending either meet - just be aware that if attending in a 'wrong era' car you'll be directed to the public car park rather than the 'display' areas (font/track).

pps I've set up a new thread for the pre 1980's Vintage and Classics meet.
