Update from Haynes on their FB page...

Haynes International Motor Museum..
We are delighted to announce that subject to Government Guidelines our long-awaited Breakfast Clubs are making a return in January 2021. We will be operating on a pre-booking system to ensure social distancing and we will announce when this is live soon. Information on how the event will run and the safety measures that will be in place will also follow shortly.

That's going to be interesting - carnage on the road I suspect if people do the usual and just turn up mob handed! :O

On the flip side, I will be 100% booking that! biggrin

The Re:Fuel meets have been managed really well, I expect Haynes will do just as good a job smile

No, April cancelled but start again in May.

Yep we are heading up in my 208 Gti, and really looking forward to it. I spent ages polishing it this morning, but it's filthy already!

Hi, Did you and juice go?
What was attendance like, how many cars?
Were the Covid facilities safe, but not too heavy?

I live about 15 miles away and there seemed to be loads of (enthusiast) cars / bikes wizzing around on Sunday morning - signs of some normalcy returning, I hope.
I'm more into older cars, so I might go next week (pre-1980's).

Hi, I think there were about 200 cars there, and quite a mix with a Mclaren 720s parked next to a Nissan Micra!!

The food was great and the ques for the stalls were well marked out. I was quite surprised that we weren't asked to park further apart to give more space when looking at the cars. But everyone was being respectful, and I never really felt crowded.

Massive thanks to the guy who let us sit in his stunning McLaren 675lt, like I didn't want one enough before!

My pictures are on the Breakfast meet FB group here https://www.facebook.com/groups/530159797641538/pe...

Attended for the first time since lockdown, good to see so many cars out despite the forecast (we cheated and came in the ST Estate). What happened to the food tho? Was looking forward to a full english which made the hours drive worth it.

Will probably stick with the Re:Fuel meet going forward as Dunkeswell is a lot closer.

Did the August and September ones happen ? I confess I'm not enthused by the need to book (and pay £5 !!) beforehand; I prefer to wait and see what the weather is doing and how Sunday morning feels when I roll out of bed. Also no full English now - not at all good.
