Nick Mason’s Open Day
Discussion
Thanks for posting this, it prompted a last minute decision to head down from SW London and we had a great few hours.
Good call!
Reckon they’ll hit the £100K mark for charity this year.
Good on him, he’s about to embark on a big tour and took 2 hours a day to sign all his fans stuff as well as be the heart of this event, not bad for an 81 year young guy!!

Why don't you think you would be able to get in?
If it's like the last time I was there, there will be no problems.
Just thinking fields and a lower ride height. If it's like the last time I was there, there will be no problems.
To give you an idea, I think if you can get over a speed bump, you should be ok. The biggest concern might be hot exhaust and dry grass, but looking at the forecast, I don't think the grass will be dry

I popped along yesterday and whilst the cars were cool, it felt a bit like Winchester Christmas market. Got so busy at some points around the grounds that we were shuffling rather than walking and the food stalls had long queues.
A couple more food stands to help keep things moving and a much better traffic management system wouldn’t have hurt. It took us over an hour to get from the car park to the main road when we left around 12ish, principally as people were trying to turn right out of the lane. This would have been ok, but there were still big queues to get in, so no space or natural gaps in the traffic.
Nice idea but think I’ll skip the middle man and just give some money straight to the air ambulance next year.
