Spotted in Plymouth this evening - very discrete indeed. The lights in the rear screen are barely visible at night.

Nope. Never heard anything like this. Friends with a number of local coppers and not heard of this before and they're petrol heads so would be interested in this!

The mk1 Octavia VRS is genuine though.

Obviously, the photo was taken from behind me, by my rear seat passenger!

Saw an unmarked dark blue BMW 1-series heading towards me on the A303 Northbound carriageway a little north of Taunton, lights flashing. Quite stealthy, looked like it had sun protection/privacy tint side and rear windows. Couldn't be 100% sure as it was coming the other way fairly rapidly but it looked like a 2012 (F20) 5-door hatch.

Ah now that backs up what I saw a couple of weeks back on Passage Rd nr Henbury. His o/s/r window was open revealing what looked to be a dog cage... cunning wink

Grey/silver volvo v70 WA12FHH. Seen at traffic base just off Camborne West. Normal looking numberplate!
Caught a glimpse of a car like that just west of Okehampton on the A30 this afternoon with a couple of cop dealing with an incident.

We were on the opposite carriageway so it was only a glimpse...

Brand new black Volvo Estate - WF13 XRO - usual discreet lights behind front grille and high up inside back window frown

Interesting, as up to now pretty much all the D&C police vehicles have had a WA prefix.

Looks like the local ( Av+Som) filth might have a new weapon on their fleet. Just turned onto the A358 after coming back across from Wheddon Cross and a mile or so up the road towards Taunton we seen some blue flashy lights. As we neared it was two bikes, and the one with blue flashy lights was a plain grey BMW GS 1200 kitted out with aluminium panniers etc etc. A plain grey GS isn't going to arouse too much suspicion if it creeps up behind you and I'm sure the blue lights were in the same position as DRL's. Play safe out there boys and gals :|

ETA. Looks like they might have a couple according to this..........
