Garage lift rental/place??

Is there anywhere in the Southampton area that has somewhere I can go to get the GFs car up on a lift so I can clean the small oil leak that I've left for far too long? (gearbox and most bits between are now covered )

Getting it up on stands is ok, but I preferably need it up higher so I can easily get under with the pressure washer and loads of degreaser.

Try approaching a local fairly small Indi. In my experience they will let you use a lift for the price of a couple of pints provided it is not in use with a paying customers car and you clean up after you. Friday afternoon or Saturday morning seems to be a good time. Often they tend to have less staff working then so more likely to have a slot.
