A couple of recent spots probably not rare or super, but both firsts for me.

that's how to get your car keyed overnight surely. Surely anyone with that sort of car could afford to (or has the expenses account to) pay for a decent hotel with safe parking for posh cars.

Apologies. Anyone who knows me would tell you I know slightly less than nothing about these things!

Followed a fantastic yellow Alpine GTA down the M53 on my way home from work earlier, he gave me a flash as I turned off. Looked awesome!

Six Bentleys south of Chester over a three mile stretch of road.
Two batches of two and two singles.

Not the works ones but all looked privately owned.

Some sort of meeting ?

Was me. It's a '92 Alpine A610 Turbo, formally of the Wiliams F1 parish. Been for it's MOT today. 131k miles, passed with no advisories :-)
My Brother used to have a silver 05 Clio 182 and now has a '12 RS200 cup. Don't see many 182's these days Thought you might appreciate an Alpine as an RS owner!

Ah brilliant! I thought there was a possibility you might be on here. Yeah I love an Alpine, and yours looks in fantastic nick. Shame mine hasn't been washed since November and is covered in bugs and everything else haha. I'm always around and about in mine, done over 70k in it since I got it. Do you ever pop over to Cars and Coffee Liverpool? If you do I will keep an eye out for you, would be a good excuse for me to make the effort to go!

Saw this near the school I work in, very impressive considering the speed bumps everywhere.

Spotted a convoy 70s and 80s Fords shortly before 9am this morning heading along Warrington Rd, Goose Green in Wigan then heading onto the M6. Cars included a white RS Turbo, a very early Capri MK 1 or 2, followed by a silver Capri Mk3 or 4 and one or two Escorts following behind.

I too spotted some Fords on Saturday, but at the other end of the North West, 2 Escort Cosworth's, an Orion and an early Capri all between Sandback/Crewe/Nantwich area.

I know there was some Classic racing taking place at Oulton Park, but not sure if they where part of that?

Oulton Park was the Vintage Sports Car Club meeting. There were some classics there, I noticed a white Mk3 Escort, one of our club members had his Mk2 Escort there, I don't particularly remember a group of Fords as such, but they could have been parked in a bit I didn't go around.
