Ferrari 360 Spider picking its way along on Crownest Road in Bingley at about 17:00 today.
Potholes, speed humps, dug-up bits of road without warning signs, road only wide enough for one car due to all the parked cars and the inevitable shuffling routine as cars try to pass in opposing directions. Not the kind of place I'd want to drive a Ferrari!

Saw a BMW XM tonight at Monks Cross, I've seen one before in the daytime, I think it's the first car I've seen that looks worse at night, it's massive grill lights up at night. Not a fan.
Also followed something very, very old (but I've no idea what it was) on Wigginton Road past the railway crossing until it turned off (with the passenger giving a hand signal) at Clifton Moor. In contrast to the XM, it's lights were barely visible.
As usual, my phone focused on the windscreen, not the outside (taken from the passenger seat of a LHD car of course)

My guess would be a pram hood Austin 7 from that photo. Nice spot!
Thank you, after a quick Google I think you're spot on. Anything pre 1980s I'm pretty clueless on, something from the 1920s I have no chance. Seeing it did make Monday evening rush hour a bit more pleasant.
Got a bit invested, and went to the car in the cold to get the dashcam, which provides a slightly clearer image, of the reg plate.
Which means it's this one, apparently an Austin 7 Chummy.
Also, since my eyes had to be subjected to it, a BMW XM at night

Followed a Hyundai I20N yesterday lunch time from Garforth Cliff to Allentown Bywater. Not that unusual, but this was a driving school car. Dread to think what the insurance is like one of those, especially as you’ll be using it soon if you keep letting your trainee pull out on oncoming cars (me!) at roundabouts!
Cool car to learn in though, must create a lot of business.

Excellent detective work, my Dad had a 1925 pram hood Chummy, which I got to drive which was why it looked familiar. Other stuff from the 1920s I’m not so good with! Seeing it did make Monday evening rush hour a bit more pleasant.

The passenger hand signal was a familiar manoeuvre!

I saw it again! On Bootham heading towards town about 20 mins ago, I'm hoping it'll become a regular sight, it's pretty cool to see among the regular traffic. I did love to see the hand signal, I can't say I've seen one since being shown them on my driving lessons nearly 15 years ago.The passenger hand signal was a familiar manoeuvre!
I also saw another BMW XM, this time in matte black close to York hospital this morning, it was still fairly early so the headlights were on, which meant another look at the ridiculous light up grill, maybe I'm showing my age, but I find that light up grille particularly obscene.
