Got loads of parts that require refurbing whilst rebuilding a couple of my cars - quality is the most important criteria. Any suggestions - am in Sheffield, but travel no problem.

I looked to get a Dupont lighter re-plated a few months back from a lil-mester from up near the top end of Rutland Road.

I didn’t get it done in the end for various reasons, but the firm had been highly recommended to me by a few different people for somewhere that trades on quality, not price.

I’ll dig out their details for you tomorrow afternoon.

My neighbour had some chrome work done on his Austin Cambridge last year, fantastic quality.
Have a look at Agbrigg Chrome Platers. They’re based in south Leeds.

Prestige are good - they chromed some manifolds I made once and they came back like a mirror. Hellish waiting time though
