East Yorks pub meet - 1st Thursday of the month

Weather looking good tonight !!
Hopefully get a decent turn-out as would be great if we could get this meet back to where it was a few years back....regularly used to take over a large part of the car park there !!
Be good to see new and old faces too....all welcome....bring the family !!

As usual, here are a few photos from last thursday. Good to see a few new faces along with the "regulars" and was great being able to sit outside and enjoy the warmer evening !! Here's hoping that we have a full on heatwave for next months meeting which will be Thursday 6th July although I won't be able to make this one.
Also in July there is a meeting in Trinity Square, Hull on the evening of Monday 17th July I already have a few that have put their names down, but if anyone else is interested can you please contact me direct with your details so that I can add you to the list as there is only very limited space available for us.

Next meet is two weeks today on THURSDAY 6th JULY and will be from 7pm at The Triton, Brantingham HU15 1QE
All are welcome, including families ! Would be useful if we could get some kind of idea of numbers again and hopefully the good weather will continue so we can take advantage of the outdoor areas at the pub.
I'm not going to be able to make it this month so would be good if someone could take a few photos and post them.

Busy week for meets !!
Wednesday 5th from 5pm onwards theres a meet at the Cottingham Parks Golf and Leisure Club HU16 5SW with food/drink available at the Clubhouse, all welcome !!
Thursday 6th from 7pm onwards it's the regular monthly PH meet at the Triton, Brantingham HU15 1QE so hopefully there will be a good turn out.
Friday 7th from 5pm onwards it's the Humber Bridge Classic Car evening held in the North Car Park HU13 0LN. Usually a great selection of cars turn up on the evening. Only restriction for entry to the main area is cars have to be over 20 years old. In the past though, those of us with "newer" cars have always managed to find a suitable area to park and enjoy the evening.
No need to book for any of these....just turn up, enjoy the weather and have a look around !!

We did a few days out last summer together. It's Dave with the Alfa Quad.
If you fancy a shift to Beverley, I can offer my works carpark on an evening.
Compact but secure and enough for 12 cars right in the centre of town. Just an option.

I think that usually these meets work best where there's a pub involved (with a decent car park) so that those who want can grab a drink and/or something to eat....but am quite happy to consider any other ideas to get things moving again.
How are you getting on with the QF ? Does it still randomly pop the boot ?

OK...
Lets see if we can get something back up and running on this one....given that the Triton was often quite busy on a thursday evening, coupled with being unable to give them an idea of numbers, I'm going to suggest that we go back to the Swan & Cygnet at Swanland in february to see what kind of interest there is...we can always try a different venue once the sun starts coming out !
